Description:
The United Power FIM protocol driver is used to interface to United Power FIM modules to monitor the status of connected Uninterruptible Power Supplies. The United Power FIM driver can be used as a client to poll for UPS status or can be used as a server to emulate a FIM module. Analog and Digital status data can be retrieved from a United Power FIM module. The driver works over either a RS-232 port or over a RS-485 port allowing multi-dropped FIM modules to be accessed.
