Description:

This FieldServer driver can be used to poll a Siemens Fire Safety MXL system, Siemens FireFinder XLS or to emulate a Siemens Fire Safety MXL or XLS system with attached modules. Either configuration only supports the remote monitoring commands which are adequate for remote data and status information collection.

Formal Driver Type: Serial, Client only

Connection type: RS-232 with NIM -1R or RS-485 with NIM-1W configured for Foreign System Interface (FSI) by setting all the switches in SW2 to open (or OFF)
