Description: Modbus Plus® is a time-proven, robust communications platform with a huge installed base and industry acceptance. It is a high-speed (one megabaud) network that supports both peer-to-peer and master/slave type communications. Modbus Plus® is used by Modicon PLCs, operator interfaces, PCs and other data sources to communicate throughout an automated facility over a twisted-pair cable. Modbus Plus® provides all of the benefits of an effective communications network including reduced wiring and maintenance costs, improved productivity through diagnostics, accuracy and information flexibility.
