ControlLogix platform interface to a wide range of Fire Alarm Control Panels
In the typical process plant it is necessary to interface the plant’s building automation systems and fire alarm control panels (FACP) to the plant controls via the ControlLogic platform. Fire alarm panels tend to utilize proprietary protocols to interface from the panel to external devices. Only FieldServer Technologies has the complete library of fire alarm panel protocols enabling SlotServer to provide the integrator an interface with most fire alarm panel systems easily without the need for an external gateway.
The SlotServer FIR (Fire Alarm Panel Open Interface module allows an Allen Bradley ControlLogix platform to pass data between a ControlLogix CPU and such fire alarm panels available from most fire alarm manufacturers.
